(SportsNetwork.com) - The Phoenix Suns will go for the home-and-home sweep of the Denver Nuggets Friday night as the two sides clash again, this time at the Pepsi Center. The Suns knocked off the Nuggets, 120-112, Wednesday at US Airways Center. It was the fifth win in the last six games for the Suns and halted a five-game winning streak for the Nuggets. Gerald Green scored 24 points off the bench to lead the Suns. Eric Bledsoe deposited 21 points with 10 assists, Goran Dragic scored 20 and Markieff Morris totaled 15 points with 10 rebounds and seven assists for the Suns. Marcus Morris had 14 points while Alex Len and PJ Tucker chipped in 10 points apiece off the bench for the Suns. Wilson Chandler led the Nuggets with 19 points, while Timofey Mozgov and Arron Afflalo each contributed 18 points, with Mozgov pulling down 13 rebounds in the setback. Ty Lawson scored 17 points and handed out 12 assists, while Alonzo Gee netted 11 off the bench. The pace was fine for us, scoring over 100 points, said Afflalo. But you cant turn around and give the same amount up. With the game knotted up at 64-64 at halftime, Phoenix opened the third on a 14-4 run. Dragic scored the first five points of the run, then capped it with a layup with 7:06 left in the quarter. There was a stretch there in the third quarter where we played pretty good defense, then we made some shots, Suns coach Jeff Hornacek said. The Suns shot lights out against the Nuggets, going for 51.1 percent from the field, 52 percent from 3-point range and 81 percent from the free-throw line. Denver didnt come close to those numbers. Nuggets forward Danilo Gallinari left the game with left knee soreness and didnt return after a little over eight minutes of action. Its the same knee that has a surgically-repaired ACL, which cost him almost two years of action. The Suns return home for two, then hit the road for three. Denver plays four of its next five away from home. The Suns have now five in a row against the Nuggets, dating back to last season. Phoenix may have won two straight in the Mile High City, but it is 3-10 in its last 13 there. https://www.pittsburghfootballshop.com/Customized . Which is to say, the top of this years draft class is not as dynamic or exciting as the 2013 class of Nate MacKinnon, Sasha Barkov, Jonathan Drouin and Seth Jones and its not as strikingly promising as the highly-anticipated 2015 slate of Connor McDavid, Jack Eichel and Noah Hanifin. https://www.pittsburghfootballshop.com/12-Jersey. Brandon Morrow allowed five runs on six hits over three innings. He struck out two, walked one and hit a batter. "I left a lot of opportunities out there and missed a lot of birdies, but thats OK," she said. "If I play the weekend, well get them." Saying "if" wasnt necessary. After shooting a 1-under-par 71 to get to 3 under for the tournament, the 16-year-old will get those opportunities Saturday and Sunday. Henderson was one of four Canadians to make the cut, along with Jennifer Kirby, amateur Jennifer Ha and Sue Kim. Henderson will move on after not making it past the second round in this event the past two years. "Im a lot more comfortable on the big stage," Henderson said. "Its awesome, because when I was out here at 14, I was pretty nervous and didnt really know anybody. Now, I know quite a few of the pros and they know me. Im more comfortable in the big setting with all the fans and all the cameras." Henderson has to be with all the attention on her this week at London Hunt and Country Club. Playing in a group with Kirby of Paris, Ont., and Rebecca Lee-Bentham of Toronto, Henderson was still the main draw. Following a second-place finish at the U.S. Amateur and a tie for 10th at the U.S. Womens Open, Hennderson has high expectations on her as the future face of Canadian golf.dddddddddddd She doesnt know what her secret is, but the soon-to-be 17-year-old doesnt flinch at the exposure shes getting. "Its a challenge to be able to play well for (fans), and I love it," the Smiths Falls, Ont., native said. "I know theyre all cheering for me, so really its positive energy." Kirby used some of that positive energy to remain as the low Canadian at 5 under with an even-par 72 Friday. That had her 10 strokes off the lead, held by South Koreas So Yeon Ryu. "I didnt make a lot of birdie putts, but I made a lot of par saves," Kirby said. "Hopefully I can go a little lower on the weekend." Ha, whos from Calgary, had the best morning round of any Canadian with a 3-under 69 to get her to 3 under for the tournament. Kim of Langley, B.C., just made it a 1 under. Lee-Bentham, Sara-Maude Juneau of Fossambault, Que., Natalie Gleadall of Stratford, Ont., and Elizabeth Tong of Thornhill, Ont., missed by a stroke at even par. Lorie Kane (Charlottetown), Alena Sharp (Hamilton) and Jessica Wallace (Langley) were 1 over, Maude-Aimee LeBlanc (Sherbrooke, Que.) was 2 over, Samantha Richdale (Kelowna, B.C.) was 3 over, Erica Rivard (Tecumseh, Ont.) was 4 over and Nicole Vandermade (Brantford, Ont.) was 5 over.
