Greatest London Fashion This Year. Tip#45 - FrankJScott - 07-19-2021

Three top suggestions to help you pick the right clothing store.
Do you shop at the same stores every time? Do you shop at the same place often? There are many shopping options for clothing. It's beneficial to have a couple of options. What are the best ways to decide which one you want to go with? Here are a few ways to narrow your choices:

Geographic These stores are located close to you (assuming you're going to brick and mortar stores).
Budget What is your budget? need to spend?
Preferred personal styling - If your preference is for an artistic style, you'll shop at a different place than someone who prefers classic or traditional styles.. Try fashion show for size.
Your size – Unfortunately, not every store offers petite, plus-sized, and tall clothing.
Store size - we sometimes prefer smaller stores over bigger ones (or vice versa).

You're now conscious of the options available to you. How can you determine which stores offer the best choice for you? This isn't a complete listing, but it can assist you in narrowing down your choices if you only have a handful of stores you visit or the options they provide aren't enough for you. This is the method I use to help my clients decide which stores to visit.

Large department. Large dept. The store will have all of your shoes and clothing, as well as coats. There are departmental stores to fit any budget.
You can find specialty chains stores (e.g. Talbots, Banana Republic or White House Black Market). Each store has its own distinct style and style, making it easy to identify one you are a fan of. With clothing that fits your style and fit well, it's worthwhile to keep an your eye on seasonally-themed collections. You can often mix and match items there, and you will find excellent customer service.
TJ Maxx and Marshalls are stores that are priced at a discount (e.g. Nordstrom Rack, TJ Maxx or Marshalls). Off-price stores, such as consignment, thrift, or vintage stores are treasure hunter's favorite places. They also provide great discounts on designer products at a fraction of the cost. It is possible to either be open and watch to see what goodies are found or you can have a clear vision of what you're looking for so you don't get lost. Self-restraint is key because it's easy to get distracted by the price tag and end with items you don't really require. If you're often overwhelmed, having a strategy will make the situation easier to manage.

It is also important to mention boutiques. These shops are typically owned by locals , and is a fantastic way to shop for clothes. In these shops, you will discover a specific style or esthetic you won't discover in other stores. Some boutiques offer unique or handmade designs, while others cater to certain age groups. They aren't found at department stores.

Women tend to be anxious when visiting a boutique being afraid that they'll pay too much or get sold to by salespeople. Both fears can be true , but they don't always prove true. Check them out and take the time to investigate them. There are usually great sales at the beginning of every season. If you're familiar with their offerings this is a great opportunity to add some new items to your wardrobe. Next time you shop, what shopping experience do you want to add? Make sure to have fun !
